Saltiban (undisclosed) has gone 1-for-8 with a double, one RBI and one run in two games for High-A Jersey Shore since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Friday.
Saltiban's pair of appearances over the weekend marked his first with Jersey Shore since May 6. The 20-year-old infielder has likely been healthy for quite some time, as he completed a 10-game rehab assignment between the rookie-level Florida Complex League and Single-A Clearwater before rejoining Jersey Shore coming out of the All-Star break.

The toolsy infielder had produced a .190/.268/.320 batting line to go with two home runs and seven stolen bases in 25 games with Jersey Shore before being shelved earlier this month. Saltiban is without a clear timeline to return to action for the High-A club.

A third-round pick last year out of a high school in Hawaii, Saltiban didn't wow with his impact (23.9 Hard%) or bat-to-ball ability (70.1 Contact%), but he flirted with a 20-20 season as an age-appropriate prospect making his full-season debut. Saltiban is only about 5-foot-10, but he's a plus runner and has a chance to be a plus defensive second baseman.
