Yankees' Jayvien Sandridge: Returns to minors
The Yankees optioned Sandridge to Triple-Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
The left-hander allowed two runs over two-thirds of an inning during his MLB debut Saturday against the Mets, and he'll now head back to the minors. Sandridge has a 0.87 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 19:5 K:BB in nine appearances with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season.

Yankees' Jayvien Sandridge: Back in majors
The Yankees recalled Sandridge from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Friday.
The 26-year-old was optioned to Triple-A on June 22 but will quickly return to the majors as Clarke Schmidt (forearm) heads to the injured list. Sandridge has given up just one earned run with a 19:5 K:BB across 10.1 innings with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre this season and is looking to make his MLB debut.

Yankees' Jayvien Sandridge: Bound for Triple-A
The Yankees optioned Sandridge to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre following Sunday's 4-2 win over the Orioles.
New York called up Sandridge from the minors for the second time in less than week, but he'll once again be returned to the minors without having made an appearance out of the big-league bullpen. The Yankees haven't announced a corresponding move, but right-hander Allan Winans is expected to be recalled from Triple-A on Monday to start the team's series opener in Cincinnati.

The Yankees recalled Sandridge from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sunday.
New York optioned Sandridge to Triple-A after Thursday's 7-3 win over the Angels, but he'll be eligible to rejoin the big club just three days later since the Yankees placed lefty Ryan Yarbrough (oblique) on the 15-day injured list in a corresponding move. Sandridge will work out of the bullpen and is expected to be utilized mainly in lower-leverage spots.

The Yankees selected Sandridge's contract from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Thursday.
A 26-year-old lefty reliever, Sandridge will be making his MLB debut when he gets into a game. After beginning the season on Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's 60-day injured list, Sandridge has been effective since he was cleared to return to action for the affiliate in late May. Over his six appearances prior to his call-up, Sandridge allowed one earned run on four hits and four walks while striking out 13 over seven innings.

Yankees' Jayvien Sandridge: Inks minor-league deal
Sandridge signed a minor-league contract with the Yankees on Sunday that includes an invitation to big-league spring training.
The left-hander spent last season in the Padres organization and had a 4.28 ERA, 1.72 WHIP and 95:49 K:BB over 61 innings between the Double-A and Triple-A levels. Sandridge has yet to see action in the majors and should serve as organizational bullpen depth for the Yankees.
