Celtics-Heat Game 6 Video: LeBron James 45 points

When LeBron James took to the floor Thursday night, he did so with the greatest of expectations and the lowest of hopes fom the basketball-watching world. And in a rare instance, he reminded everyone of why he is considered the greatest player on the planet, why he was voted MVP, why he is singularly devastating. 

James scored 45 points on 26 shots in Game 6 vs. the Celtics, in a dizzying array of dunks, fadeaways and leaners. It was the nexus of his offensive scoring talents, and it left the Celtics in ruins in his wake. But see for yourself:

 

So that's a pretty good night's work for the MVP. In reality, when James' jumper is falling like that, when he's got the three falling and the fadeaway, there's just no way to defend him. It wasn't bad defense from Boston. It was just LeBron James doing LeBron James.
