  • Coty Clarke: Ties cut with Astana

Clake has parted ways with Astana, Sportando.com reports.

Clarke will leave the Khazakstani club after averaging 12.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 31.9 minutes across 10 games this season. It's unclear if he has another professional option lined up but doesn't appear to be in the running for anything stateside. He's spent the past four seasons overseas.

  • Coty Clarke: Signs with Russian club

Clarke signed a one-year contract Saturday with BC UNICS of the Russian VTB United League, Sportando reports.

Clarke made his NBA debut last season with the Celtics, appearing in three games over the course of his pair of 10-day deals. The team chose not to re-sign him after the conclusion of his second 10-day contract, and Clarke ended up latching on with the Timberwolves for summer league play. He averaged 8.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 23.0 minutes per game in his eight appearances, but that production wasn't enough for him to earn a guaranteed deal from another NBA team. Clarke will attempt to boost his stock overseas before potentially returning to North America in 2017-18.

  • Coty Clarke: Won't be re-signed by Boston

Clarke's second 10-day contract expired Sunday, and he won't be re-signed by the Celtics for the remainder of the season, Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe reports.

Clarke has only appeared in three games for a total of six minutes during his stint with the Celtics. By ridding themselves of Clarke, the Celtics will have an extra roster spot available for the final couple of weeks before the playoffs, which would give the team some flexibility if they need to add a player to fill a specific need due to an injury. Look for Clarke to head back to the D-League's Maine Red Claws.

  • Celtics' Coty Clarke: Recalled from D-League

Clarke was recalled from the D-League's Maine Red Claws on Saturday.

Clarke remains under a 10-day contract with the Celtics, but that hasn't prevented him from logging time in the D-League, as he's had two different stints with Maine since inking his NBA deal. Now that he's back with the Celtics, Clarke isn't expected to see meaningful minutes, though he'll continue to provide the team with some emergency depth on the wing while Jae Crowder (ankle) remains sidelined.

  • Celtics' Coty Clarke: Assigned to D-League

Clarke was assigned to the D-League's Maine Red Claws on Wednesday.

It looks like the Celtics are simply trying to see what they have in Clarke, a 10-day contract signee, though it's unlikely he remains with the team beyond this season.

  • Celtics' Coty Clarke: Will sign second 10-day contract

Clarke will sign a second 10-day contract with the Celtics on Friday, Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe reports.

Clarke has appeared in the last two games with the Celtics, logging four total minutes in garbage time. Even though he'll stick around a little longer with the team, don't expect his court time to increase much, if at all.

  • Celtics' Coty Clarke: Recalled from NBA D-League

Clarke was recalled from the D-League's Maine Red Claws Friday.

Clarke posted a team-high of 18 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), to go along with five rebounds and two assists for the Red Claws on Thursday. He'll return to the Celtics' roster Friday, but considering he's yet to make his NBA debut, it doesn't seem likely he'll see fantasy worthy minutes any time soon.

  • Celtics' Coty Clarke: Assigned to D-League

Clarke has been assigned to the Maine Red Claws of the NBA D-league on Thursday.

Clark was originally signed to a 10-day contract on Monday while Kelly Olynyk (shoulder) remains a game-to-game decision. In the D-League, Clarke has been averaging 16.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 26 minutes per game through 39 contests. It appears for now that his stop in the NBA was only a temporary one.

  • Celtics' Coty Clarke: Signed by Celtics

Clarke signed a 10-day contract with the Celtics on Monday.

After being cut by the Celtics in training camp, Clarke has spent all season with the D-League's Maine Red Claws, where he was one of their more effective performers with averages of 16.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 26 minutes over 39 appearances. The Celtics will reward Clarke for his diligence with his first NBA opportunity, but don't expect him to become a regular member of the team's rotation.
