Pistons' Paul Reed: Heading to Motor City
The Pistons claimed Reed off waivers Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Reed is on the second year of a three-year, $24 million deal, and he will now join former 76ers teammate, Tobias Harris, in Detroit's frontcourt. Reed will likely compete for minutes with Isaiah Stewart off the bench behind Jalen Duren. After averaging 7.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks across 19.4 minutes in 82 regular-season games with the club last year, Reed was waived by the 76ers on July 6.

76ers' Paul Reed: Being released by Philly
The 76ers plan to waive Reed on Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Reed is currently on a non-guaranteed contract, and Philadelphia plans to waive the big man to open up more cap space. The 25-year-old had a career-best year due to Joel Embiid missing significant time, during which Reed averaged 7.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks across 19.4 minutes in 82 regular-season games.

76ers' Paul Reed: Returns to bench Tuesday
Reed is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pistons, Austin Krell of USA Today reports.
No real surprises here, as Reed will move back to the bench with the return of Joel Embiid (knee) to the starting unit. Reed has averaged 7.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game over his last 10 appearances off the bench.

76ers' Paul Reed: Double-double against San Antonio
Reed ended with 11 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 133-126 double-overtime victory over San Antonio.
It's the seventh double-double of the season for Reed but his first since March 8, while the five assists tied his season high -- a mark he also reached Saturday. The fourth-year center is seeing his usage rise again with Tobias Harris (knee) now missing from the frontcourt along with Joel Embiid (knee), and in the three games Harris has sat out, Reed has averaged 7.3 points, 6.3 boards, 3.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 1.0 blocks in 23.0 minutes per contest.

76ers' Paul Reed: Strong defensive effort in win
Reed contributed six points (3-4 FG), five rebounds, five assists and four steals over 23 minutes during Saturday's 116-96 victory over the Grizzlies.
Reed compiled four steals in the win, continuing to provide viable streaming value despite the return of Joel Embiid. While Reed's upside is limited now that the star center is back in the lineup, he should still be on the radar if you need defensive stats and rebounds.

76ers' Paul Reed: Impresses off bench
Reed registered 10 points (4-6 FG, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds, three assists, two blocks and three steals across 24 minutes during Sunday's 121-107 win over the Clippers.
This was quite the showing from Reed as he showcased his ability to stuff the stat sheet across the board. His defense and rebounding are his calling cards, as he's averaging 1.6 blocks, 1.2 steals and 7.3 rebounds in March.

76ers' Paul Reed: Remains productive in reserve role
Reed finished with 17 points (7-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal over 27 minutes during Friday's 103-95 loss to the Pelicans.
After starting Philadelphia's previous game Wednesday versus Memphis, Reed returned to the bench Friday while Mo Bamba logged a start. The change in roles didn't impact Reed's productivity -- in fact, he played three more minutes, and his totals of 17 points, 11 boards, three blocks and a steal were identical to his previous outing. Reed has been up-and-down as the primary replacement to Joel Embiid (knee), but he has done enough as a rebounder and shot blocker to justify rostering in most fantasy leagues, with Embiid still without a return timetable.
