  • Pacers' Ethan Thompson: Impactful in first start

Thompson closed with six points (2-4 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds and two steals across 28 minutes during Monday's 116-105 victory over the Kings. Thompson moved into the starting lineup for the first time in his young career, logging at least 28 minutes for the second straight game. Although his numbers don't jump off the page, he certainly had an impact when it mattered most, securing a number of key offensive rebounds down the stretch. At this stage, there is no reason to prioritize him outside of deeper formats. However, he is worth monitoring everywhere, just in case his hustle translates into viable fantasy production.

  • Pacers' Ethan Thompson: Starting Monday

Thompson will start against the Kings on Monday. After signing a two-way pact with the Pacers on Nov. 30, the 26-year-old guard will get the starting nod for the first time in his short NBA career, pushing Garrison Mathews to the bench. Thompson impressed during Friday's win over Chicago, recording 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 34 minutes.

  • Pacers' Ethan Thompson: Nets 11 points with two swats

Thompson closed with 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal in 34 minutes during Friday's 120-105 win over Chicago. Thompson had made just two brief appearances for the Pacers this season before Friday's explosion, but he played impactful minutes and finished with a plus-25 differential. The two-way player started over Garrison Mathews to begin the second half of Friday's win, so it'll be interesting to see if he gets the starting nod Monday versus the Kings.

  • Pacers' Ethan Thompson: Garbage time appearance

Thompson amassed no counting stats in three minutes during Wednesday's 135-120 loss to the Nuggets. After signing a two-way contract with the Pacers earlier in the week, Jones remained in the rotation, albeit for just three minutes. Although he has appeared in both games since signing his deal, there is no indication he will play a meaningful role at the NBA level.
