With a slew of regulars inactive for the regular-season finale, Bouyea made his first start of the year and performed well, leading all scorers and finishing one assist shy of a double-double. It marked the guard's highest scoring output of the campaign and his 10th game in double figures. Bouyea agreed Monday with the Suns on a two-year standard NBA contract, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Previously signed to a two-way deal for the Suns, Bouyea had limited eligibility remaining at the NBA level, but after being upgraded to a standard deal, he'll be available for the rest of the regular season as well as the playoffs.
