  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Nets 21 points in loss

Alexander-Walker racked up 21 points (7-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-7 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Wednesday's 115-92 loss to the Clippers. Alexander-Walker dominated the offense with Jalen Johnson (calf) sidelined, and while he didn't have his most efficient outing, he still managed to extend his career-best streak of games with 20-plus points to four. The seven-year veteran is having a breakout season playing a key role in Atlanta, churning out career highs in points (20.4), triples (2.8) and assists (3.6).

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Scores 34 points in double-OT win

Alexander-Walker contributed 34 points (11-22 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal across 44 minutes during Sunday's 142-134 double-overtime win over the 76ers. Alexander-Walker is going through a prolific stretch and has recorded at least 30 points for the third time over his last six games. He's also achieved that mark in back-to-back games for the first time in 2025-26. Alexander-Walker has been an excellent backcourt partner for Dyson Daniels in the absence of Trae Young (knee), and his numbers suggest he should remain a regular starter across all formats until further notice. Alexander-Walker averaged 21.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and a combined 1.5 steals-plus-blocks per game in November while shooting 40.9 percent from three-point range.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Team-high 30 points in win

Alexander-Walker ended with 30 points (10-22 FG, 5-13 3Pt, 5-5 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 35 minutes during Friday's 130-123 win over the Cavaliers. It was another strong shooting night for Alexander-Walker, who led the Hawks in scoring Friday thanks in large part to his five three-pointers, his most in a game since Nov. 20 against the Spurs (eight). The seventh-year pro's career-high average in scoring prior to the 2025-26 regular season was 11.0 points per game during the 2020-21 campaign with the Pelicans, but he has taken on a greater scoring role in his first year with the Hawks. Over his last nine outings, Alexander-Walker has averaged 21.0 points, 3.8 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 2.9 threes, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 steals over 33.3 minutes per game.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Pops for 23 in win

Alexander-Walker closed with 23 points (8-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 39 minutes during Sunday's 113-110 victory over Charlotte. Alexander-Walker seemed to cool off after exploding for 38 points Nov. 20 against the Spurs, as he dropped just 10 against the Pelicans on Saturday. However, he was able to regain offensive momentum Sunday. Alexander-Walker has been key to Atlanta, especially with the absence of Trae Young (knee), as he averages 20.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.9 blocks and 2.4 threes across 32.8 minutes in his last 11 starts.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Rolls to 38-point night

Alexander-Walker totaled 38 points (13-17 FG, 8-10 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, five assists and three blocks in 34 minutes during Thursday's 135-126 loss to the Spurs. Alexander-Walker couldn't be stopped from beyond the arc, where he torched the nets for a season high in made threes. He was also effective on the opposite end of the court, where he led Atlanta in swats. The Virginia Tech product has impressed from a scoring perspective over his last three appearances, averaging 29.3 points during this hot stretch.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Stuffs stat sheet in win Sunday

Alexander-Walker accumulated 26 points (9-18 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 5-7 FT), three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 35 minutes during Sunday's 124-122 victory over the Suns. Alexander-Walker was the Hawks' second-best scorer in this matchup behind Onyeka Okongwu, who finished with 27 points. Alexander-Walker has been embracing a bigger role due to the absence of Trae Young (knee) and has stepped up as a reliable backcourt threat when available. Alexander-Walker is averaging 18.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game when deployed in a starting role, a trend that will continue as long as Young remains out.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Upgraded to probable

Alexander-Walker (back) has been upgraded to probable ahead of Wednesday's game in Sacramento, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. It appears Alexander-Walker will be returning from a two-game stint on the sidelines Wednesday evening, which will likely shift Keaton Wallace back to the second unit. There may also be fewer shots and playmaking opportunities for Dyson Daniels.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Iffy for Wednesday

Alexander-Walker (back) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Kings, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. Alexander-Walker is in jeopardy of missing his third straight game due to lower back spasms. If the 27-year-old joins Trae Young (knee) on the sidelines once again, Keaton Wallace and Vit Krejci are candidates for a bump in minutes. Over his last five appearances (four starts), Alexander-Walker has averaged 19.0 points, 3.2 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 32.0 minutes per contest.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Unavailable Monday

Alexander-Walker (back) won't play in Monday's game against the Clippers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Alexander-Walker will miss his second straight matchup while dealing with back spasms. Keaton Wallace entered the starting lineup in Alexander-Walker's place Saturday and could have another opportunity to run with the first unit Monday night, though Vit Krejci and Luke Kennard will also be in contention for increased roles.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Iffy for Monday

Alexander-Walker (back) is questionable for Monday's game against the Clippers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Alexander-Walker missed Saturday's win over the Lakers due to a back issue, which has now put his status in question Monday. If he is unable to play, Luke Kennard and Vit Krejci could see extra minutes.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Out Saturday

Alexander-Walker (back) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Lakers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Alexander-Walker will miss his first game of the season due to a back issue, and his next opportunity to play will come Monday against the Clippers. With the 27-year-old swingman joining Trae Young (knee) and Luke Kennard (illness) on the sidelines, Keaton Wallace and Vit Krejci are expected to see increased minutes against Los Angeles.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Questionable for Saturday

Alexander-Walker (back) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Lakers, Brad Rowland of the Locked On Podcast Network reports. Alexander-Walker is dealing with a back issue, which could keep him sidelined. If he's ultimately ruled out, the team will likely turn to Keaton Wallace and Vit Krejci to help shoulder the load in the backcourt.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Drops 16 in loss

Alexander-Walker ended with 16 points (3-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 10-11 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one block across 34 minutes during Sunday's 117-109 loss to the Cavaliers. Alexander-Walker has filled in admirably for Trae Young (knee), posting 18.5 points, 4.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks in the two games he has started as a result of Young's absence. Alexander-Walker will likely continue to see extended usage until Young returns. However, despite seeing more volume, Alexander-Walker has not been efficient from behind the arc, shooting 27.3 percent on the season and 20.0 percent in starts.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Shines in spot start

Alexander-Walker posted 21 points (8-14 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), three rebounds, three assists and two steals in 32 minutes during Friday's 128-108 win over the Pacers. Alexander-Walker drew the start in place of Trae Young, who was ruled out due to a knee injury. Alexander-Walker continues to fare well offensively, as he's now scored 17 or more points in five of his first six appearances of the 2025-26 campaign. He's also provided a spark defensively by racking up two steals in three of his last four matchups.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Starting sans Young

Alexander-Walker is in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Pacers, Kevin Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports. The Hawks are awaiting some clarity on Trae Young's (knee) injury, and Alexander-Walker will get the first look in the first unit in Young's stead. Alexander-Walker has averaged 16.2 points, 3.2 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals in 30.0 minutes per contest in five games this season.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Sizeable role incoming

Alexander-Walker recorded 18 points (7-17 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals across 32 minutes during Wednesday's 117-112 win over Brooklyn. Alexander-Walker shifted to the bench Wednesday, although that could be a short-term move following a knee injury to Trae Young. While it is only being reported as a knee sprain, there is a decent chance Young will miss time moving forward. Alexander-Walker has been arguably the most consistent player for the Hawks this season and could very well find himself with a sizeable role, at least for the short term. If he is available in your league, you may want to go and rectify that immediately.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Paces Atlanta in loss

Alexander-Walker contributed 17 points (6-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block over 30 minutes in Saturday's 117-100 loss to the Thunder. Alexander-Walker led a short-handed Hawks team in scoring Saturday with Zaccharie Risacher (ankle), Jalen Johnson (ankle) and Kristaps Porzingis (illness) all sidelined. The wing made his second consecutive start and, while scoring slightly less than in his previous outing, was much sharper from deep, hitting 50 percent of his three-point attempts after shooting just 10 percent from distance Friday. Though Alexander-Walker likely won't start when Atlanta is fully healthy, the team's current injury situation should keep him heavily involved, and he projects to log consistent minutes even when coming off the bench.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Drops 19 points in start

Alexander-Walker closed with 19 points (8-18 FG, 1-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Friday's 111-107 victory over the Magic. Alexander-Walker moved into the starting lineup, replacing Zaccharie Risacher, who was ruled out with an ankle injury. The move yielded immediate rewards, with Alexander-Walker scoring 19 points in the comeback victory. This is precisely why the Hawks acquired him during the offseason, to provide the team with much-needed depth at the guard position. While he will clearly be an every-night part of the rotation, managers shouldn't expect this kind of production on a regular basis.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Drops 17 points in spot start

Alexander-Walker closed with 17 points (6-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one block in 28 minutes during Thursday's preseason loss to the Rockets. Alexander-Walker moved into the starting lineup, replacing Dyson Daniels, who was given the night off. Alexander-Walker ended as one of four Hawks players to score double-digits, an encouraging sign following his offseason move from Minnesota. He is slated to come off the bench, likely serving as a primary backup like Luke Kennard. While he typically won't play enough to be considered in standard fantasy drafts, Alexander-Walker is certainly more than capable of producing fantasy-worthy numbers, if and when he is handed a larger role.

  • Hawks' Nickeil Alexander-Walker: Available for Thursday

Alexander-Walker (rest) will be available to play during Thursday's preseason game against the Rockets, Caleb Johnson of 92.2 The Game reports. Alexander-Walker will likely receive plenty of playing time during the preseason finale. Head coach Quin Snyder made it clear that he'll be playing his top players in the team's final preseason game, considering there's ample time before the regular-season opener against the Raptors on Oct. 22.
