As we told you last week, former Titans quarterback Vince Young has a standing job offer from the University of Texas if the NFL doesn't call him for another chance.

That job will have to be put on hold for now.

According to Fox 26 in Houston, Young will take a physical with and work out for the Browns on Monday in the hopes of landing a deal. Browns general manager Ray Farmer later confirmed the workout.

The Browns, of course, have quarterback questions. Though Brian Hoyer was more than solid when he played last season, the only other quarterback on the roster is former Cowboys taxi squad player Alex Tanney. Cleveland is expected to draft a quarterback early (Johnny Manziel is a popular prediction in the mock draft room), but the Browns will still need arms for offseason workouts.

Perhaps Young can be one of those arms.

After flaming out in Tennessee, Young was Michael Vick's backup with the Eagles in 2011. Young also spent time with the Bills and Packers the past couple seasons, but neither job lasted long. Last October, Young couldn't figure out why he was out of work.

"Me and my wife and all my peers and fans, we're all trying to figure this stuff out," Young said during an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio Wednesday. "I don't have the slightest idea. It's like a huge question mark over my head every day I wake up in the morning to take care of my responsibilities and know I should be playing. To not have one of those calls, it's tough."

That call finally came, and now, Young has yet another chance to prove he belongs to play in the NFL.
