Cam Newton runs to wrong tunnel at halftime after getting drilled
Cam Newton got slightly confused at the end of the first half.
SANTA CLARA, Calif.-- Cam Newton struggled during the first half of Super Bowl 50, and those struggles didn't end even when the half was over.
On the final play of the first half, Newton was sacked by Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware.

After the play, Newton started heading toward the Panthers locker room. The problem for the Panthers is that he ran the wrong way. Carolina's locker room is located at the 50-yard line behind their bench, however, that's not where Newton headed.
The Panthers quarterback headed for Carolina's end zone, which was a good 40-yards away from where he was supposed to be. Eventually, a trainer spotted Newton and grabbed him before he ran off the field into the wrong tunnel.
The Panthers haven't announced injury to Newton, so maybe he was just confused, but it was an odd site at the end of the first half to see him run the wrong way, especially after he was sacked three times and took several rough hits during a brutal first half.
