Cowboys' Josh Thomas: Moved to NFI list
Thomas (thumb) was assigned to the Cowboys' non-football injury list Tuesday per the NFL's official transaction report.
Thomas was moved from injured reserve to the NFI list as he continues to nurse a thumb injury that has sidelined him all season.

Cowboys' Josh Thomas: Placed on IR with thumb injury
Thomas (thumb) was placed on IR on Monday, Drew Davison of the Star-Telegram reports.
The 27-year-old was expected to serve as a depth cornerback for the Cowboys during the 2016 season. Daxton Swanson and Arjen Colquhoun are likely to fill in during his absence.

Cowboys' Josh Thomas: Re-signs with Dallas
Thomas signed a one-year deal Thursday to remain with the Cowboys.
Originally drafted by Dallas in 2011, Thomas bounced around the league until winding up back with the Cowboys at the tail end of 2015. He's provide depth in the secondary and on special teams.
