Bryan Walters: Released by Jaguars
Walters (foot) was released from the Jaguars' injured reserve list Wednesday, John Oehser of Jaguars.com reports.
Walters, who was placed on IR last week due to a foot injury, was expected to compete for punt-return duties for the Jaguars if healthy. The 29-year-old has spent time with the Chargers, Seahawks and Jaguars throughout his career, but he'll look to catch on elsewhere upon his eventual return to full health.

Jaguars' Bryan Walters: Placed on IR with foot injury
Walters (foot) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Walters recently hurt his foot in the Jaguars' offseason program. He should be able to retain his role as a punt returner on special teams if he can get healthy in time for the regular season, though it would also take the team choosing him as its IR player designated for return.

Jaguars' Bryan Walters: Re-signs with Jags
Walters re-signed with the Jaguars on a one-year contract that includes an option for a second year, Eugene Frenette of the Florida Times-Union reports.
Walters had some opportunities last season to serve as Jacksonville's No. 3 receiver when other players missed time with injuries, but he still finished the year with only 24 catches for 231 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 34 targets in 10 games. He'll likely return as the No. 4/5 wideout with a key role on special teams.

Jaguars' Bryan Walters: Posts 26 yards receiving in Week 15 loss
Walters secured two of five targets for 26 yards and gained nine yards on a pair of punt returns in Sunday's 21-20 loss to the Texans.
Walters played the role of third receiver once again with Allen Hurns (hamstring) sidelined. The fifth-year veteran profiles mainly as a possession receiver and return specialist, and his sure hands and solid routes make him a trusted safety valve, albeit one with capped fantasy upside. Walters does have at least two catches in each of the last three games, as well as a Week 14 touchdown.

Jaguars' Bryan Walters: Scores against Vikings
Walters hauled in all four of his targets for 31 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Vikings.
Walters' 14-yard score gave the hosts a 16-12 third-quarter lead, but Minnesota responded with 13 unanswered points in the final frame. The journeyman wideout has just 76 yards and two touchdowns this season, so don't expect him to match this performance any time soon.

Jaguars' Bryan Walters: Downgraded to out Sunday
Walters (concussion) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's matchup against the Lions, Tad Dickman of Jaguars.com reports.
This will be the second consecutive game missed for Walters. His status for Week 12 will depend on whether he can pass the team's concussion protocol.

Jaguars' Bryan Walters: Questionable to play
Walters (concussion) is questionable to play Sunday against the Lions.
Walters took part in every practice this week, but only in a limited capacity. It doesn't appear as though he's cleared the league's concussion protocol yet, so he's truly questionable heading into Sunday.
