Vontarrius Dora: Let go by Arizona
Dora was released by the Cardinals on Sunday.
Dora hasn't seen regular-season action since 2018, where he suited up for 67 defensive snaps and logged three tackles in three games. The 27-year-old will look for a depth role elsewhere as camp is set to open across the league.

Cardinals' Vontarrius Dora: Receives promotion
The Cardinals promoted Dora to the active roster Wednesday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Dora spent three games with Arizona last year, but he was unable to make the team to start 2019. The Cardinals need depth at outside linebacker now, though, as Haason Reddick (groin) is day-to-day ahead of Sunday's game versus the Seahawks. If Reddick can't go, Dora won't be a starter but he could rotate in occasionally on defense while serving on special teams as well.

The Cardinals promoted Dora to the active roster Tuesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Dora was let go by the Cardinals in November and was later signed to the practice squad. The Cardinals are in need of defensive line depth after they placed Olsen Pierre (knee) on injured reserve.

Cardinals' Vontarrius Dora: Rejoins Cardinals
Dora (undisclosed) signed a contract with the Cardinals on Saturday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Dora survived roster cuts but was waived/injured by the Cardinals in early September, and ultimately was waived again after reverting to injured reserve. Now apparently healthy, the 26-year-old is expected to bolster the Cardinals' depth on the defensive line.

Dora (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Cardinals on Friday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Dora made the Cardinals' initial 53-man roster, but was waived/injured early last week and placed on injured reserve. The linebacker was waived again Friday, and is now free to find a new home elsewhere in the league.

Broncos' Vontarrius Dora: Starts Saturday scrimmage
Dora's strong practice on Friday led to a start in Saturday's scrimmage, Troy Renck of Denver 7 ABC reports.
Veteran pickup Kasim Edebali has gotten most of the attention ever since starter Shane Ray went down with a wrist injury. Dora, however, showed flashes as an undrafted free agent last year, notching two sacks in the 2016 preseason. No matter who starts Week 1 opposite Miller, Dora or Edebali, they'll likely tumble down the depth chart as Ray and Shaq Barrett will be due back early in the season. Still, a strong showing through the preseason and early part of the season could lead to sustained snaps later on.

Broncos' Vontarrius Dora: Sees clearer path to final 53
Dora is among those next in line for added opportunity, with edge rusher Shaq Barrett expected to miss much of the remaining offseason, Mike Klis of KUSA 9News reports.
Dora came to Denver as an undrafted free agent last offseason, a tweener not quite big enough to play end and not as explosive as a typical outside linebacker. His two-sack, one forced-fumble performance against Chicago in the preseason helped him earn a spot on the practice squad and he was promoted to the active roster late in the season. Entering 2017, he and free-agent pickup Kasim Edebali figured to duke it out for the fourth, and potentially final, spot at outside linebacker. Now, with Barrett hurt, it is possible that both will make the cut in an effort to provide depth behind Von Miller and Shane Ray.

Dora was signed to the active roster from the practice squad on Friday. He likely won't see time on the field unless the team faces injuries and he's forced to suit up in the next few weeks.
