Falcons' Taveze Calhoun: Hits IR
Calhoun (undisclosed) cleared waivers and was placed on injured reserve by the Falcons on Sunday.
Calhoun hasn't suited up for a game since his rookie season in 2016 with the Saints. He was vying for a special-teams role, but he couldn't stay healthy for the competition. The 26-year-old will remain on injured reserve unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.

Falcons' Taveze Calhoun: Joins Atlanta's practice squad
Calhoun signed on to join the Falcons' practice squad on Tuesday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
An undrafted 25-year-old cornerback out of Mississippi State, Calhoun will get an opportunity to move his way up through the Falcons organization following stints with the Saints and Dolphins. Atlanta has dealt with injuries to the back end of the defense early in the season -- Keanu Neal (knee) done for the season with a torn ACL -- resulting in intrigue for Calhoun as a worthwhile developmental backup.

Saints' Taveze Calhoun: Joins active roster for New Orleans
Calhoun was promoted to the active roster Saturday, Josh Katzenstein of The Times-Picayune reports.
Calhoun hasn't played a professional snap, but that could change Sunday against the Falcons since the Saints are dealing with a hefty amount of injuries to their secondary. The rookie received the promotion because Ken Crawley (kneecap) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
