Raiders' Denver Kirkland: Back in action
Kirkland (undisclosed) played a team-high 62 offensive snaps during Thursday's preseason win over the Cardinals.
Kirkland had been carted off the practice field earlier this month with severe muscle cramps, but the issue no longer appears to be affecting the backup right guard. He'll now be able to compete for the starting job with Gabe Jackson nursing a knee injury that could keep him sidelined for up to two months.

Raiders' Denver Kirkland: Suffering from muscle cramps
Kirkland was carted off the field Friday due to muscle cramps, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
The situation was scary to onlookers, as typically being carted off the field indicates a serious injury. Fortunately, Kirkland was just suffering from cramps. The 25-year-old is on the roster bubble, so a return sooner rather than later will be beneficial for his chances of serving as a depth lineman.

Raiders' Denver Kirkland: Tendered by Oakland
Kirkland, who was an exclusive-rights free agent, has received a one-year contract tender from the Raiders, Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Kirkland would have become an unrestricted free agent had he not been tendered. The 24-year-old lineman spent the entire 2017 season on injured reserve due to a preseason knee injury, but there presently isn't any concern he's at risk of missing the Raiders' offseason program.

Raiders' Denver Kirkland: Could miss extended period
Kirkland could be in for a long absence due to his leg injury, Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The specifics on Kirklands' injury are unclear, but head coach Jack Del Rio acknowledged that the offensive lineman could be out a while. Because Kirkland is one of the top backups in Oakland, his injury reduces the team's depth along the line. Chauncey Briggs figures to see extra reps as long as Briggs is sidelined.
