Falcons' Josh Rosen: Serving as backup
Rosen is active for Sunday's game against the Bills, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Falcons' Josh Rosen: Active for Week 1
Rosen is active for Sunday's contest against the Eagles, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
While Rosen won't see the field unless Matt Ryan suffers an injury or is forced to miss time, the fact that he's active instead of Feleipe Franks gives him the first regular-season opportunity to back up Ryan.

Falcons' Josh Rosen: Sticks on 53-man roster
Rosen has a spot on Atlanta's initial 53-man roster, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network repors.
The Falcons are keeping both Rosen and undrafted rookie Feleipe Franks behind durable starter Matt Ryan. Given that Rosen has been with the team for only one week, Franks likely will be the backup quarterback for the season opener against Philadelphia on Sept. 12. It's still a decent opportunity for Rosen, the 10th overall pick from the 2018 NFL Draft.
