Antonio Callaway: Let go by Dallas
The Cowboys cut Callaway on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Callaway ended the 2022 campaign on the Cowboys' practice squad and earned a reserve/future contract in January, but he's been let go ahead of mandatory minicamp. The 2018 fourth-round pick hasn't appeared in an NFL regular-season game since 2020. In a corresponding move, Dallas signed Tyron Johnson.

Cowboys' Antonio Callaway: Lands future deal
Dallas signed Callaway to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Callaway reached an injury settlement with the Chiefs at the end of August, and after moving past a knee issue, he latched on with the Cowboys' practice squad in mid-November. He was never elevated during the regular season and hasn't seen NFL action since 2020, but with his new contract, he'll be able to stick around in Dallas' organization and compete for a roster spot during the offseason.

After reaching an injury settlement with the Chiefs in August after suffering a knee injury, Callaway is healthy and will join the Cowboys' practice unit. The wide receiver hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2020 and will provide Dallas with additional depth option off the active roster.

The 2018 fourth-rounder displayed potential in his rookie campaign with the Browns but opened the 2019 season with a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance-abuse policy and was eventually let go by Cleveland November 2018. He ended up with Miami this past season, where he caught two of his four targets for 20 yards through five games before being waived in December. The 24-year-old will now look to secure a reserve role in Kansas City's receiving corps down the road.
