  • Cardinals' Jonathan Ledbetter: Sent to injured reserve

    The Cardinals placed Ledbetter (knee) on injured reserve Friday. Ledbetter suffered a season-ending knee injury in last week's loss to the Bears and will finish the year on the injured list. 2023 was Ledbetter's first season as a full-time starter, as he started all 12 games he appeared in after starting just four games across his first three seasons. Ledbetter finishes the year with a career-high 46 tackles (21 solo), including 1.5 sacks.

While the nature of this issue is still unclear, the 25-year-old will now look to improve his health heading into the upcoming offseason, as Arizona has already been eliminated from this season's playoffs.     Ledbetter posted four tackles (one solo) and 0.5 sacks in Sunday's 59-10 loss to the Ravens. The undrafted rookie out of Georgia had a respectable role in the defense, working on 51 of 77 defensive snaps (66 percent). It was an ugly overall performance for the Dolphins' defense, but Ledbetter showed potential with his half sack. It will be another tough contest in Week 2 against the Patriots.
