Tyree Kinnel: Done in Pittsburgh
The Steelers waived Kinnel on Sunday.
Kinnel earned an opportunity in Pittsburgh back in March after having showcased his talents with the D.C. Defenders in the XFL. He'll now need to search for a depth role in another secondary in the league.

Steelers' Tyree Kinnel: Back in NFL with Steelers
Kinnel signed with the Steelers on Wednesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Kinnel saw a brief stint in the NFL with the Bengals after a four-year career at Michigan, but he had most recently been playing with the DC Defenders of the XFL. He recorded 16 tackles through five games in the shortened 2020 XFL campaign, and he will now be competing for snaps in the Pittsburgh secondary.
