Johnny Maxey: Waived by Titans
Maxey (undisclosed) was waived from the Titans' injured reserve list Tuesday, according to the official NFL Transaction Report.
Maxey spent the offseason bouncing on and off the Titans roster before being placed on injured reserve in early August due to an undisclosed injury. However, if he can prove he is now healthy, the defensive end could have an opportunity to find a new home elsewhere.

Playing in just his second game of the season, Maxey saw a slight increase in snaps when Ricardo Mathews sustained an ankle injury that forced him out of the game. The tackle was the first of his NFL career.
