  • Seahawks' Shemar Jean-Charles: Staying with Seattle

Jean-Charles agreed to a one-year contract with the Seahawks on Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Jean-Charles was on Seattle's practice squad throughout last season and didn't get into any NFL games. He'll be able to compete for a roster spot during training camp.

  • Seahawks' Shemar Jean-Charles: Heading to Seattle

The Seahawks signed Jean-Charles to a contract Saturday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports. Jean-Charles was signed to the Saints' 53-man roster in November after being cut by New Orleans following the conclusion of training camp in late August. He appeared in nine regular-season games (including two starts) for the Saints in 2024 and finished with 14 tackles (six tackles) and two pass defenses (one interception). Jean-Charles adds depth to the Seahawks' secondary and will have the chance to compete for a prominent role.

  • Packers' Shemar Jean-Charles: Practicing at full strength

Jean-Charles (ankle) was a full participant at practice Wednesday ahead of Sunday's game at Chicago. Jean-Charles has missed the last five games with an ankle injury, but the update suggests he will probably be ready to play in Week 13 at the Bears. He's only played three defensive snaps through six games in 2022, but he could potentially mix in more with Eric Stokes (ankle) having been placed on IR since Jean-Charles initially sustained his injury.

  • Packers' Shemar Jean-Charles: Unlikely to play Thursday

Jean-Charles (ankle) is doubtful for Thursday's matchup against the Titans. Jean-Charles has missed three straight games due to an ankle injury and will likely be sidelined for a fourth. He's played primarily on special teams, so his prolonged absence hasn't impacted Green Bay's defense.

  • Packers' Shemar Jean-Charles: Set for third straight absence

Jean-Charles (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Jean-Charles is set to miss his third straight game due to the ankle injury, though he did manage two limited practices to close the week. He played almost exclusively on special teams prior to going down, so his absence has not had an impact on the Packers' defensive unit.
