Wade was last let go by Denver with an injury settlement back in late-August, but his tryout in Kansas City on Tuesday implies that his unspecified issue is no longer a concern. The 24-year-old linebacker appeared in four contests a season ago for the Broncos as a strict special-teams contributor.

Wade has appeared in three games for the Broncos this season, but he saw work only on special teams. With the Broncos' linebacker unit reeling from COVID, it's possible Wade could see a fourth game with the active roster Sunday against the Chargers.

Wade was with the active roster for three games in Week 7 through 9, playing solely on special teams. The Iowa product will look to clear protocols quickly so he can be ready if another chance with the Broncos develops.
