The Giants restored Johnson (undisclosed) to their practice squad from the practice squad COVID-19 list Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Johnson was signed to the Giants' practice squad Dec. 23, but he wasn't active for any games during the 2021 campaign.

Dwayne Johnson: Lands on practice squad COVID list
Johnson (undisclosed) was placed on the practice squad COVID-19 list Thursday, Michael Eisen of the Giants' official site reports.
Johnson signed with the Giants' practice squad on Dec. 23, but he has not been active for a game to this point. Given that he won't be able to take the practice field for at least a few days, he's unlikely to be elevated for the team's season finale against Washington on Sunday even if he clears protocols.
