Camron Peterson: Cut loose by Saints
The Saints waived Peterson (undisclosed) on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Peterson went undrafted in 2024 and logged action in one preseason game for New Orleans last August, accruing one tackle before being placed on injured reserve on cut-down day. Because he was cut this week without an injury designation, he's free to sign with another organization at any point.

Saints' Camron Peterson: Set to miss 2024 season
Peterson (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the Saints on Tuesday.
Peterson is nursing an undisclosed injury and he'll now be forced to sit out the 2024 season while on IR. The defensive lineman registered a tackle during the preseason and he'll look to be ready to go for training camp in 2025.
