Panthers' Popo Aumavae: Reverts to IR
Aumavae (Achilles) cleared waivers and reverted to injured reserve Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Aumavae is still recovering from the Achilles tear he suffered last July. The Oregon product was waived by Carolina on Thursday, and since he's cleared waivers, he'll now move to the team's injured reserve.

The Panthers waived Aumavae (undisclosed) with an injury designation Thursday.
Aumavae was injured during training camp last season and spent the 2024 season on injured reserve in Carolina. The former undrafted free agent out of Oregon has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game.

Aumavae (undisclosed) reverted to Carolina's injured reserve list Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Aumavae was waived/injured by the Panthers on Thursday, and he subsequently cleared waivers. The defensive tackle signed with Carolina as an undrafted free agent in April, but he'll miss the entire 2024 campaign unless he and the team reach an injury settlement.

Popo Aumavae: Dropped by Carolina
The Panthers waived/injured Aumavae (undisclosed) on Thursday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Aumavae linked up with Carolina after going undrafted out of Oregon earlier in the offseason, but the team has now decided to part ways with the 25-year-old. Assuming Aumavae clears waivers, he'll revert to the Panthers' injured reserve and miss the entire 2024 season unless an injury settlement is reached.
