Norwood is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Browns. Norwood will now be sidelined for a second consecutive matchup due to the hamstring issue that's caused him to miss two practices this week. The second-year pro has primarily been limited to a special-teams role since Week 7, so his absence isn't expected to alter Pittsburgh's defensive game plan.... See More ... See Less

Steelers' Tre Norwood: Out for Week 17
Norwood (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Ravens, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reports. After failing to partake in any of Pittsburgh's three practices this week due to a hamstring concern, Norwood will ultimately miss his second matchup of the season come New Year's Day. The second-year pro likely wouldn't have received many defensive snaps anyways given his role as a strict special-teams contributor this year, along with the return of fellow safety Terrell Edmunds (hamstring) this weekend.... Steelers' Tre Norwood: Misses Wednesday's practice
Norwood (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Chris Halicke of DKPittsburghSports.com reports. Norwood wasn't included on Wednesday's practice report due to an error, while Cameron Sutton was incorrectly listed as a non-participant. After Norwood was forced out of Saturday's win over the Raiders with a hamstring issue, his lack of participation is unsurprising. It remains to be seen if he will be available Week 17 versus Baltimore.... See More ... See Less -
Steelers' Tre Norwood: Heads off with hamstring injury
Norwood left Saturday's victory over the Raiders with a hamstring injury. Norwood was deemed questionable to return after being injured in the first half, but he was unable to make it back on the field. It remains to be seen if Norwood will miss any further action.... See More ... See Less -
Steelers' Tre Norwood: Week 11 start awaits
Norwood is expected to step in as a starter at free safety Sunday against the Chargers with Minkah Fitzpatrick (illness) on the reserve/COVID-19 list, Chris Adamski of TribLive.com reports. A rookie seventh-round pick, Norwood played more than three quarters of the Steelers' defensive snaps in the first two contests of the season, but he's been relegated mainly to backup work and special-teams duties each of the past seven games. Fitzpatrick's absence for this week should result in a temporary spike in playing time for Norwood, who should start alongside Terrell Edmunds at safety.... See More ... See Less
