    Arizona waived Hembrough (back) on Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

    In a corresponding move, Arizona signed rookie free-agent long snapper Joe Shimko. Hembrough now will have to look for his next opportunity with a new team after spending his entire rookie season on the injured reserve list.

    Hembrough (back) was placed on injured reserve by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

    Hembrough is set to miss the entirety of the 2023 season with a back injury unless he can reach a settlement with Arizona. In such a circumstance, the long snapper out of Oklahoma State would then be able to sign with another squad.
