The Texans released Fisher from the practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Fisher was with the Texans during training camp and stashed on the practice squad after Houston finalized its initial 53-man roster. He was released to make room for linebacker Rashad Weaver.
