Desmond Harrison: Cut by Cardinals
The Cardinals cut Harrison on Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Arizona's decision to release Harrison comes less than an hour after a report surfaced that the offensive tackle is facing a pair of assault charges. The Cardinals claimed Harrison off waivers in June after he was cut loose by Cleveland. He started eight games at left tackle for the Browns last season.

Cardinals' Desmond Harrison: Claimed by Cards
Harrison was claimed off waivers by Arizona on Thursday.
Harrison was waived by Cleveland on Wednesday and now lands with another team barely 24 hours later. The Browns' move was fairly surprising, as the 25-year-old started in eight games at left tackle in 2018 -- head coach Freddie Kitchens cited attitude issues as the reason for letting the tackle go. Harrison could also figure to slot into a starting role in the desert, given his experience and clear talent in the trenches.

The Browns waived Harrison on Wednesday, James Palmer of NFL Network reports.
The move is somewhat surprising, given that Harrison started eight games at left tackle for the Browns in 2018 after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent last spring. The 25-year-old is now free to sign with any team and shouldn't have trouble finding a home elsewhere.

Harrison has dealt with his fair share of injuries this season, ranging from a knee injury, to illness, to toe issues. The 25-year-old wasn't listed on the Browns' injury report Wednesday, which leads us to believe that he is now healthy and ready to play.
