The Bengals waived/injured Beverette (shoulder) on Saturday, Paul Dehner Jr. of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Beverette was seeking a depth role in the Bengals' secondary. The undrafted rookie will revert to the team's injured reserve if he clears waivers.

Bengals' Tyrice Beverette: Dealing with shoulder injury
Beverette sustained a shoulder injury in Thursday's preseason finale against the Colts, Jay Morrison of The Athletic Cincinnati reports.
The severity of the injury remains unclear, but a return to the game was promptly ruled out. The 23-year-old is battling for a roster spot as a reserve defensive back and special teams player.

Bengals' Tyrice Beverette: Cleared for practice
Beverette (undisclosed) passed his physical and is cleared to return to practice.
