Seahawks' Darvin Kidsy: Signs reserve deal
The Seahawks signed Kidsy to a reserve/future contract Friday.
Kidsy spent just one week with the team's practice squad in December but apparently showed enough promise to earn a deal. The 25-year-old will hope to add depth at wide receiver, but it will likely take a handful of injuries before he has the chance to suit up. The last time Kidsy took the field was in 2019, when he played in just 25 offensive snaps through three games for Washington.

Redskins' Darvin Kidsy: Catches pass Week 17
Kidsy caught one pass for eight yards in two games with Washington during the 2018 season.
The undrafted rookie out of Texas Southern failed to make the 53-man roster out of training camp but eventually had a place for the final two games of the year. While he doesn't offer any standout traits as a prospect, Kidsy could be in the mix for a back-end roster spot in 2019, as Washington doesn't have a sure thing at wide receiver besides maybe Paul Richardson (shoulder).

Redskins' Darvin Kidsy: Lands with Redskins
Kidsy signed a contract with the Redskins on Thursday, Kareem Copeland of The Washington Post reports.
Kidsy previously spent time with Washington during the offseason and now finds a spot on the team's 53-man roster. With Josh Doctson (back) and Maurice Harris (concussion) both nursing injuries and four other wideouts on injured reserve, the undrafted rookie out of North Texas has a real opportunity to make his NFL debut during the Redskins' last two games of the season.
