Wilson (undisclosed) was waived by the Chargers with an injury settlement Saturday, per the league's official transactions report.
Wilson will now be free to look for a role elsewhere when fully healthy. It remains to be seen what sort of injury he's dealing with.

Chargers' Kyle Wilson: Clears concussion protocol
Wilson (concussion) is listed as active for Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Patriots.
Wilson was limited Wednesday and Thursday, but he was able to clear the league's concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's tilt. He's slated to start at outside linebacker across from Kyle Emanuel.

Chargers' Kyle Wilson: Signs with Los Angeles
Wilson signed a contract with the Chargers on Thursday, Ricky Henne of the team's official site reports.
Wilson takes the spot of Trevor Williams (knee) on the Chargers' 53-man roster. The 6'0, 231-pound Arkansas State product played in one game with the Eagles this season, and will now work to carve out a depth role in Los Angeles.
