Charlie Thomas: Trying out with Jets
Thomas (knee) tried out with the Jets on Monday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.
Thomas was waived from the Bengals' injured reserve list in early August, but following Monday's tryout in New York, it appears he's moved past his knee issue. The Georgia Tech product appeared in three regular-season games with the Browns in 2023, recording two total tackles.

Charlie Thomas: Waived from IR
The Browns waived Thomas (knee) from injured reserve Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Thomas was placed on injured reserve last week with a knee injury but will now head to waivers. The 24-year-old will shift his focus to getting healthy and look to catch on with another team.

Browns' Charlie Thomas: Placed on IR
Thomas (knee) was placed on injured reserve Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Thomas will now be forced to miss the entirety of the 2024 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Browns.
