Darius Hodge: Tries out in Cincinnati
Hodge (undisclosed) worked out for the Bengals on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Hodge had spent some time earlier this year on Miami's injured reserve due to an unspecified issue, but he was then let go by the Dolphins with an injury settlement in early September. The 24-year-old linebacker was originally signed by Cincinnati as an undrafted free agent in 2021 before being waived after four games played.

Darius Hodge: Gets settlement
Hodge (undisclosed) reached an injury settlement with the Dolphins on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Hodge would have missed the entire 2022 campaign had he not been able to reach a settlement. Now, as soon as he is healthy enough to compete, he'll be able to pursue new opportunities with other teams.

Dolphins' Darius Hodge: Hits IR
Hodge (undisclosed) reverted to the Dolphins' injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Hodge was waived with an undisclosed injury by Miami on Monday, and he will now go on season-ending IR after no other teams opted to claim him. Barring any injury settlement, the 24-year-old linebacker will be forced to sit out until the 2023 regular season.

Hodge hasn't played since Week 4, so his absence had little impact on the Dolphins' defense. However, now that he's been cleared to play, Hodge will work to earn a chance to provide more depth to the Dolphins' linebacker unit.

Dolphins' Darius Hodge: Receives two-game ban
Hodge has been suspended for two games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Hodge has not suited up since Week 4, so it is doubtful the Dolphins were planning to rely on him over the next two weeks. His next chance will come Week 17 against the Saints.
