  • Bengals' Dohnte Meyers: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

If Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) and Tee Higgins (groin) play in Week 5 at Miami then I would ignore Meyers in all leagues. Both Chase and Higgins are questionable against the Dolphins. Zac Taylor said Friday that "we'll see" about Higgins, and Chase still has to clear the concussion protocol. If both are out then Meyers should be considered a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all formats. If one of Chase or Higgins are out then Meyers should be considered a mid-range No. 3 receiver. Meyers had seven catches for 82 yards on nine targets against the Jaguars in Week 4, and Chase left early in that game. The Dolphins have only allowed two receivers to score at least 11.3 PPR points this season, with one touchdown allowed, but I still like Meyers as a flier if Chase and/or Higgins are out.

  • Bengals' Dohnte Meyers: Week 5 Waiver Priority List

Ja'Marr Chase (concussion) and Tee Higgins (groin) were both injured in Week 4 against Jacksonville, and we don't know if either will play in Week 5 at Miami. If both are out, then Meyers would be a borderline starter in all leagues. Additionally, if one of Chase or Higgins is out, then Meyers is worth using in three-receiver leagues. Meyers had seven catches for 82 yards on nine targets against the Jaguars, and he should be added for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAAB. Mitchell Tinsley (1 percent rostered) is also worth a look in deeper leagues for 1 percent of your remaining FAAB if Chase and Higgins are both out against the Dolphins, and Tinsley had three catches for 49 yards on seven targets against Jacksonville.

  • Bengals' Dohnte Meyers: Big role expansion in Week 4 loss

Meyers brought in seven of nine targets for 82 yards, returned six kickoffs for 161 yards and ran back two punts for nine yards in the Bengals' 22-17 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday. Meyers opened the game as the Bengals' No. 3 receiver, but the former CFL standout was operating as Joe Burrow's top wideout by the time the team's final drive of the afternoon rolled around. Ja'Marr Chase exited the game due to a concussion in the first half, while Tee Higgins was forced from the contest just after the six-minute mark of the fourth quarter due to an adductor injury. Meyers ultimately finished with new career highs across his receiving line while also remaining effective in his special-teams role. With the status of both Chase and Higgins highly uncertain in the immediate aftermath of Sunday's loss and Andrei Iosivas (thumb, IR) still out of action, Meyers could remain in the No. 1 receiver role in a Week 5 road matchup against the Dolphins next Sunday.

  • Bengals' Dohnte Meyers: Makes Bengals' roster

Meyers has made the Bengals' initial 53-man roster, Charlie Clifford of NBC 5 Cincinnati reports. Meyers signed with the Bengals in January after spending the previous two years in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. The 26-year-old wide receiver is expected to fill a depth role on offense and is an option as a return man on special teams.
