Johnson signed with the Lions on Saturday.
Johnson will attempt to make an impression at camp and earn a role providing depth on the Lions' defensive line. He was a 2019 seventh-round pick of Detroit but was ultimately cut. Johnson has bounced around several teams since, but he's yet to suit up for a game.

Panthers' P.J. Johnson: Heads to Carolina
Johnson signed a one-year contract with the Panthers on Tuesday, Alaina Getzenberg of The Charlotte Observer reports.
The 2019 seventh-round pick has yet to make his NFL debut. Johnson will aim to secure a depth role on Carolina's defensive line during the offseason program and training camp.

Johnson signed a contract with the Seahawks on Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Johnson worked on the Chargers' practice squad in 2019 and was cut by the team in early August. With a few injuries on the Seahawks' defensive front, Johnson could provide depth heading into the 2020 campaign.
