Key'Shawn Smith: Let go by Kansas City
Smith was waived by the Chiefs on Tuesday.
Smith signed with Kansas City on Aug. 1 after being let by go by the Raiders in late July, and reeled in one catch for eight yards, plus two kickoff returns for 62 yards over three preseason games. The wide receiver will likely clear waivers, and it's possible he joins the Chiefs' practice squad ahead of the 2025 season.

Chiefs' Key'Shawn Smith: Headed to Kansas City
The Chiefs signed Smith on Friday.
Less than two weeks after getting waived by Las Vegas, Smith is now getting another chance with a division rival. He'll probably have to make a big impression during the preseason to have any chance to make Kansas City's 53-man roster this season.

Key'Shawn Smith: Loses spot with Las Vegas
The Raiders waived Smith on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Smith linked up with Las Vegas as an undrafted free agent in May, but he'll now need to seek work in a different organization. The 23-year-old spent his final two collegiate campaigns with SMU and recorded 33 catches for 527 yards with five touchdowns over 14 games last year.
