Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: Finishes season quietly
Tucker, who was active but did not log any snaps in Sunday night's 23-20 wild-card loss to the Commanders, finished the 2024 regular season with 50 carries for 308 yards and two touchdowns, a 9-109-1 line on 12 targets, 410 kickoff-return yards and one fumble, which remained with Tampa Bay, across 17 games.
The second-year running back established new career-high figures across the board, with the highlight of his season coming in a Week 6 win over the Saints where he posted 14 carries for 136 yards and a touchdown while adding three receptions for 56 yards and another score. Tucker continued to see sporadic opportunities throughout the season and flashed plenty of his trademark explosiveness, and he could be set to see another increase in opportunity in his 2025 contract year, perhaps at the occasional expense of Rachaad White behind starter Bucky Irving.

Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: Two carries in Week 18 win
Tucker rushed twice for 16 yards in the Buccaneers' 27-19 win over the Saints on Sunday.
Tucker was in on only five snaps from scrimmage during the season-ending win, but he saw action on 40 percent of those plays and gained 14 of his yards on one carry. Rachaad White surprisingly did not see any touches over 18 snaps as the No. 2 back Sunday, but Tucker still should remain a clear third in the backfield pecking order in Sunday night's wild-card matchup against the Commanders.

Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: Tallies 44 total yards in rout
Tucker rushed eight times for 39 yards and secured his sole target for five yards in the Buccaneers' 48-14 win over the Panthers on Sunday.
The backup running back hadn't logged any snaps from scrimmage in Week 16 against the Cowboys, but Tucker saw some nice run with the Buccaneers comfortably ahead in the second half Sunday. The second-year back's carry total tied for the second highest of his career, and Tucker could be in line for more opportunities on offense versus a Saints team he compiled a career-high 136 rushing yards against back in Week 5 during a Week 18 home rematch the Bucs could well dominate.

Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: No snaps in Week 16 loss
Tucker didn't log any snaps on offense and 13 on special teams in the Buccaneers' 26-24 loss to the Cowboys on Sunday night.
Tucker failed to play on offense for the second time in the last four games and just one week after logging seven carries, his second-highest tally of the season. Bucky Irving and Rachaad White were entrusted with the full workload in terms of Tampa Bay's ground game, although they only saw a modest 19 carries between them. Tucker's week-to-week role has plenty of volatility attached to it, making him a risky play despite his upside, especially heading into championship week in many leagues.

Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: Sees seven carries in win
Tucker rushed seven times for 17 yards and returned one kickoff for 37 yards in the Buccaneers' 40-17 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
The Buccaneers surprisingly took control of the game and hung 40 points on a normally stout Chargers defense, which helped lead to a run-centric second half. That allowed Tucker to get in on the fun, as he logged the second-highest carry total of his career. While Tucker couldn't do much with the opportunity, he did provide a chunk gain on his one kickoff return and now is averaging 26.8 yards on his 12 opportunities in that capacity this season. Tucker will remain a firm No. 3 option in the backfield when the Bucs travel to Dallas for a very favorable Week 16 road matchup Sunday night.
