Striker was released by the Bills on Tuesday, BuffaloBills.com reports.
The undrafted free agent was coming on strong at one point during camp, but seemed to lack enough pass coverage skills to make enough of a roster push. In the end the Bills decided to add a few veterans off the street instead.
Striker has seemingly passed IK Enemkpali on the outside linebacker depth chart, Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News reports.
That actually puts the undrafted free agent from Oklahoma in a starter's position with Shaq Lawson and Manny Lawson out with injury. Manny Lawson is expected back around the third preseason game, but Striker is at least looking like the rare undrafted player who could make the team.
