Davis will start at inside linebacker in place of the injured Alec Ogletree (concussion) during Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Davis posted a career-high eight tackles and also added a sack during the Giants' Week 16 loss to the Colts. The rookie linebacker figures to see a healthy snap count again Sunday next to fellow starter B.J. Goodson.
Davis notched seven tackles (six solo) and one sack during Sunday's 28-27 win over the Colts.
Davis drew the start at inside linebacker in place of Alec Ogletree (concussion), and he made the best of his increased workload with a season-high seven tackles. The undrafted rookie also managed to sack quarterback Andrew Luck and now has two sacks on the year. If Ogletree is unable to clear the league-mandated concussion protocol, Davis could command another start versus the Cowboys in Week 17.
Davis will replace Alec Ogletree (concussion) at inside linebacker during Sunday's game versus the Colts.
Davis' duties have been geared towards a defensive role lately, and he'll finally have a chance to step in as a starter. The undrafted rookie has 21 tackles and a sack this year and will be tough to be depended on in IDP settings.
Davis (ankle) is active for Sunday's game versus the Redskins.
Davis left Week 13's game versus the Bears early with an ankle injury and didn't return. He was able to work into practice this week, though, and will be ready for a divisional matchup. His role in the defense will remain limited behind Alec Ogletree and B.J. Goodson.
Davis (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Redskins, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Davis drew the start at inside linebacker last week against the Bears with B.J. Goodson (neck) sidelined, but he was forced to exit with an injury of his own. Ukeme Eligwe would likely benefit from an increased role if neither Goodson or Eligwe are able to suit up at Washington.
