Ankou had four tackles (two solo) in two games during 2018.
Ankou was saddled by a calf issue for a few weeks during the season, but he was a healthy scratch for most of the campaign. The 24-year-old could see expanded opportunity in 2019 should Malik Jackson or Marcell Dareus end up a cap casualty, but he's unlikely to serve in more than a rotational role.
Ankou (calf) is active Sunday against the Bills.
Ankou entered the week with a "questionable" designation after taking the practice field on a limited basis during each session. He has yet to take the field this season, but will presumably be asked to play a bigger role out of the gates with Marcell Dareus (back) landing on the inactive list.
Ankou (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game at Buffalo, Phillip Heilman of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Ankou has been dealing with the calf issue over the last couple weeks but was able to return to practice as a limited participant this week. The 24-year-old has not been active for a game this season, but he could be needed Sunday with fellow defensive tackle Marcell Dareus (back) also questionable.
Ankou (calf) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Steelers.
Ankou was sidelined last week due to his calf injury and was considered doubtful entering Sunday. Look for Abry Jones to see some extra snaps as the only backup defensive tackle behind Marcell Dareus and Malik Jackson.
