Rangers' Nick Ebert: Dealt to Blueshirts
Ebert was traded to the Rangers from the Senators along with a 2021 fourth-round pick Monday in exchange for Vladislav Namestnikov, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.
The blueliner just recently signed a deal in North America this offseason after he potted 11 goals and 22 assists in 49 games in Sweden during the 2018-19 campaign. Ebert will join a stacked blue line of young talent for the Rangers and is expected to be shuffled to AHL Hartford rather than the big club following the trade.

Senators' Nick Ebert: Returning to North America
Ebert signed a one-year, two-way contract with Ottawa on Monday.
After three seasons toiling in the AHL following his junior career, Ebert made the move overseas for the last two years. Playing in Sweden in 2018-19, the blueliner racked up 11 goals and 22 helpers in 49 appearances. The 25-year-old could push for a spot on the 23-man roster during training camp, but will likely start the year in the minors.

Nick Ebert: Signs with KHL team
Ebert will join KHL Slovan Bratislava after an average minor-league season in which he tallied 25 points in 68 outings.
Ebert was drafted in the seventh round of the 2012 NHL Draft by the Kings, but was never able to crack their game-day lineup. Over the past three seasons, the 23-year-old notched 19 goals and 32 helpers -- not exactly the type of standout performance NHL clubs are looking for. If the blueliner can step up his game in Russia, he stands an outside chance of reviving his career.

Stars' Nick Ebert: Traded to Dallas
Ebert was traded to the Stars from the Kings in exchange for Jack Campbell on Saturday, reports the NHL Network.
Ebert's career has been on a yo-yo for years. He was a high-profile prospect entering his draft year (2012) who dropped like a stone and ended up being the last player picked. He used that as motivation and has steadily improved his game. Ebert is an outstanding skater with a rocket of a shot and the ability to jump into the play in transition, but his decision-making still gets queasy at times. There's upside in his game, but his defensive game still needs polish. He could get a look in Dallas at some point this coming season now that Alex Goligoski is gone.

Kings' Nick Ebert: Reassigned to AHL
Ebert has been reassigned to the AHL, Jon Rosen of LA Kings Insider reports.
Ebert and Jeff Schultz head to the minors, while Matt Greene gets placed on long-term injured reserve in a strategic move by the club to free up cap space. Ebert, a 21-year-old, has yet to make his NHL debut, thus making him an organizational depth option at this stage in his career.

Kings' Nick Ebert: Recalled from AHL Ontario
Ebert was recalled from AHL Ontario on Monday.
Ebert has provided four assists and a plus-7 rating through 16 games with AHL Ontario this season, and the 2012 seventh-round pick has finally earned a chance to play with the parent club. If the 21-year-old were to draw into the lineup, it would represent his NHL debut, but there's no guarantee of that with eight defensemen currently on the roster. The timing of Ebert's recall is a bit peculiar, and while it's possible the Kings are just adding some depth along the blue line in the midst of a six-game road trip, it could also indicate one of the defenseman is suffering from an injury of some kind.
