Jets' Nicolas Kerdiles: Waived Friday
Kerdiles was placed on waivers by the Jets on Friday for the purpose of reassignment, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Kerdiles -- who joined the club in the offseason -- was a long shot for a spot on the 23-man roster, especially with the emergence of Kristian Vesalainen during training camp. The 24-year-old Kerdiles figures to spend the bulk of the year with the AHL's Moose, but he could earn the occasional call-up.

Jets' Nicolas Kerdiles: Inks two-way deal in Winnipeg
Kerdiles signed a one-year, two-way deal worth $650,000 with the Jets on Tuesday, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
Kerdiles was a restricted free agent, but that doesn't mean much for a player who logged just three NHL games over the last two seasons. The 24-year-old received the league minimum and will likely spend a good chunk of the year with AHL Manitoba. Kerdiles played well in the minors last season, scoring 15 goals and adding 19 helpers in 49 games for AHL San Diego.

Jets' Nicolas Kerdiles: Traded to Winnipeg
The Ducks traded Kerdiles to the Jets in exchange for Chase De Leo on Saturday.
Kerdiles has yet to make an impact at the NHL level, going scoreless in the three games he's appeared in since being selected in the second round of the 2012 draft. It's hard to imagine a scenario in which Kerdiles carves out a prominent role with the Jets in 2018-19, as Winnipeg is stacked with talented, young forwards, so there's no reason for fantasy owners to have him on their radars at this point.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Granted qualifying offer
Kerdiles received a qualifying offer from the Ducks on Monday, NHL.com reports.
It appears that Kerdiles is well on his way to securing a stable NHL role after the Ducks took him in the second round (36th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He still must impress in training camp to make it happen, but the Texan flashed promise with AHL San Diego last season, registering 15 goals and 19 assists over 49 games. Keep an eye on his progress.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Reassigned to AHL
Kerdiles was returned to AHL San Diego on Friday.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Ascends from AHL
Kerdiles was recalled by the Ducks on Tuesday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Kerdiles has impressed with the team's AHL San Diego affiliate this season, lighting up opposing nets to the tune of eight goals and 11 assists over 23 contests. The team has enough healthy bodies to compose a lineup that doesn't include him, but it wouldn't be surprising if the 24-year-old gets an opportunity to play before he's returned to the minors.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Reassigned to minors
Kerdiles was sent down to AHL San Diego on Wednesday, Eric Stephens of The Orange County Register reports.
The move to demote Kerdiles could be as simple as a cap-related, paper-only transaction or it could mean the team is preparing to activate Ondrej Kase (head) off injured reserve ahead of Friday's clash with Montreal. Even if the 23-year-old Kerdiles is actually being reassigned to the Gulls, he figures to be at the top of the Ducks' short list for call-ups throughout the season.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Promoted to big club
The Ducks recalled Kerdiles from AHL San Diego on Friday.
Nick Ritchie is still dealing with a lower-body injury ahead of Friday's matchup with Colorado, so Kerdiles will provide the Ducks with additional insurance up front in case Ritchie is unavailable against the Avalanche. The 23-year-old American racked up three points in his first game with AHL San Diego this season.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Placed on waivers Sunday
Kerdiles (groin) was placed on waivers Sunday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
The former Wisconsin Badger had only returned to practice with the team Saturday, but will now be assigned to AHL San Diego should he clear waivers. Kerdiles is a talented offensive player who will need to continue to prove himself at the minor-league level before being afforded an NHL job.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Practices with team for first time
Kerdiles (groin) participated in group practice with his teammates for the first time Saturday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Kerdiles has been limited by the groin issue in the early portions of camp due to the ailment, but his return to practice marks significant progress with it. He played in just one contest for the Ducks last season and has missed some valuable time early in camp in his attempt to make the Opening Night roster.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Hampered by groin ailment
Kerdiles is suffering from a groin injury, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Coach Randy Carlyle didn't elaborate on what this means for Kerdiles' availability long term after he missed a couple of training camp sessions, per Eric Stephens. The team should provide additional details if Kerdiles is not going to be ready for Opening Night against Arizona.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Inks one-year, two-way extension
Kerdiles signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the Ducks on Saturday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. He will make $650,000 at the NHL level or $70,000 in the AHL.
Kerdiles is a versatile pivot who hails from Irvine, California. He made his NHL debut this past season only to appear in a single regular-season contest, though the 23-year-old was unleashed for four playoff games. The Ducks extended his contract a day ahead of the NHL Expansion Draft.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Recalled Sunday
Kerdiles was called up from AHL San Diego on Sunday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
The former Wisconsin standout was sent down near the end of the Edmonton series to give AHL San Diego a boost in its Calder Cup push, but with the Gulls being eliminated, Kerdiles finds himself back in the NHL. The forward has only played in three NHL games this year and doesn't have a point in any of them, so don't expect much fantasy value.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Demoted ahead of Game 7
Kerdiles has been sent back to AHL San Diego.
Kerdiles drew into both Game 5 and Game 6 for Anaheim, but his presence went rather unnoticed in the two tilts. He's still young and may have a future at the top level, but for now, the 23-year-old will return to San Diego to help the Gulls in their playoff run.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Promoted to parent club
Kerdiles was called up from AHL San Diego on Friday.
Raised in Orange County but playing collegiate hockey at the University of Wisconsin, Kerdiles ultimately returned to his childhood stomping grounds and signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Ducks in April of 2014. The 23-year-old has only drawn into one NHL contest so far, but the AHL numbers -- 32 goals, 40 assists and 140 PIM over 129 games -- point to a gritty player with a decent offensive skill set. Anaheim has been tending to several injured players this postseason with Ondrej Kase (undisclosed) among the latest to suffer some type of malady, so Kerdiles will be on hand as a reinforcement option.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Added to NHL roster ahead of Game 3
Kerdiles was recalled from AHL San Diego on Saturday, the Orange County Register reports.
Kerdiles made his NHL debut with the Ducks earlier this season and will provide the club with some depth ahead of Game 3. The 23-year-old winger posted 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) over 27 games with the Gulls this season, and will likely take a seat in the press box unless an injury to a Ducks forward surfaces.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Sent back down to minors
Kerdiles was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Friday.
Kerdiles might have remained on the roster if not for the big news that Patrick Eaves was traded to Anaheim on Friday. Someone had to be the odd man out and this time it's Kerdiles. However, it's not all bad -- the rookie was able to make his NHL debut while up with the big club, logging 11:08 of ice time while recording a plus-1 rating.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Promoted to big club
Kerdiles was recalled from AHL San Diego on Wednesday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
This report indicates that Kerdiles had been performing well in the minors following his return from a concussion in late-January. Indeed, the numbers support that claim with the Texan providing four goals and five assists in only 10 games with the AHL's Gulls. Still, the Ducks love perpetually shuffling their fringe players about the organization's ranks, so there's no guarantee that he lasts long in this latest stint with the parent club.

Ducks' Nicolas Kerdiles: Begins conditioning in minors
Kerdiles (concussion) has been activated from long-term injured reserve and was added to AHL San Diego's roster.
Kerdiles has yet to see any game action this season due to ongoing problems with concussion symptoms, but it appears he's finally ready to see some game action. His journey to Anaheim will have to pass through San Diego first, where he notched 27 points with the club last season. The 23-year-old is a promising young prospect, but he'll have to prove himself in the minors before getting a chance with the big club.
