Hurricanes' Jesse Puljujarvi: Resolves work visa issue
Puljujarvi joined his new teammates Tuesday after settling his work visa issue but it's unclear if he will make his Carolina debut against Montreal.
Puljujarvi, who acquired from Edmonton a week ago, didn't take part in Tuesday's morning skate. He has produced five goals, 14 points, 88 shots on net and 112 hits in 58 games this season.

Hurricanes' Jesse Puljujarvi: Visa issues
Puljujarvi is still in Edmonton as he is having visa issues, Ryan Rishaug of TSN.ca reports.
Puljujarvi was traded from the Oilers to the Hurricanes on Tuesday and was seen skating on his own Friday in Edmonton. The 24-year-old winger had five goals and 14 points in 58 games with the Oilers before the deal. He has an appointment Monday to sort out his visa problems and will join the Hurricanes in Montreal on Tuesday.

Hurricanes' Jesse Puljujarvi: Traded to Carolina
Puljujarvi was traded from the Oilers to the Hurricanes in exchange for Patrik Puistola on Tuesday.
Puljujarvi was never able to find his footing with the Oilers after being selected fourth overall in the 2016 Entry Draft, having collected just 112 points through 317 games total with just 14 points through 58 contests this campaign, but perhaps a change of scenery will benefit the 24-year-old winger. The Hurricanes are pretty stacked up front, so Puljujarvi will likely have to settle for bottom-six minutes with his new team.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Records helper in big win
Puljujarvi had an assist, three shots on goal and two PIM in Thursday's 7-2 win over the Penguins.
Puljujarvi notched an assist for the third time in his last four games. The 24-year-old was in danger of going on waivers as recently as a week ago, but his recent uptick in offense has likely reduced that threat for now. He's up to 14 points, 85 shots on net, 110 hits, 28 PIM and a minus-10 rating through 56 outings overall.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Helpers in consecutive contests
Puljujarvi notched an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Sunday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Avalanche.
Puljujarvi has an assist in each of his last two games, and he's collected three points through five outings in February. The 24-year-old winger hasn't received a bump in ice time even with the Oilers playing a man short in the last two games. He's at five goals, eight helpers, 81 shots on net, 110 hits and a minus-10 rating through 54 appearances.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Hands out assist
Puljujarvi notched an assist and two hits in Friday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Rangers.
Puljujarvi wasn't waived to make room for Kailer Yamamoto's (undisclosed) return from long-term injured reserve Friday. For at least one game, it paid off, as Puljujarvi helped out on a Derek Ryan tally in the first period. Puljujarvi has two points over his last four games, but just 12 in 53 outings this season. He's added 79 shots on net, 108 hits, 26 PIM and a minus-11 rating while logging primarily bottom-six minutes. An extended slump at some point could ultimately force the Oilers to move on from the inconsistent winger, especially since their cap situation currently has them limited to a 20-man roster.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Nets game-winner
Puljujarvi scored a goal on three shots and added three hits in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Senators.
Rumors continue to swirl about the potential end of Puljujarvi's tenure with the Oilers. He was able to temporarily quiet that talk with a third-period tally that stood as the game-winner, his first such goal this year. It doesn't change the fact that he's been scratched three times in the last eight games. The Oilers will also need to make cap space when Kailer Yamamoto (undisclosed) returns, and Puljujarvi's 11 points in 50 games while raking in $3 million make him an easy target for criticism. The winger has added 75 shots on net, 102 hits and 26 PIM this season, but he's best avoided in fantasy until he receives a much-needed change of scenery.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Adds insurance tally
Puljujarvi scored a goal in Friday's 7-1 win over the Sharks.
Puljujarvi ended a six-game point drought with the tally. The 24-year-old continues to lack consistency, and his goal Friday wasn't exactly a key one, extending the Oilers' lead to 6-0 in the third period. He has 10 points, 66 shots on net, 89 hits, 22 PIM and a minus-12 rating through 44 contests, and he's done little to make a case for a top-six role. Fantasy managers can likely find better production on the waiver wire.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Finds twine in Friday's win
Puljujarvi scored a goal on five shots, logged two hits and went plus-2 in Friday's 7-2 win over the Kraken.
Puljujarvi's goal made it 4-0 at 9:58 of the first period. Even with the big lead, the winger didn't see much additional ice time, playing just 13:54 in the contest. He has three points over his last five games and is now at three tallies, six helpers, 56 shots on net, 76 hits and a minus-10 rating through 37 outings overall.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Slides helper in win
Puljujarvi registered an assist in Wednesday's 6-3 win over the Stars.
Puljujarvi has a goal and an assist in his last two games after opening December with nine pointless outings. The 24-year-old got some top-six looks as part of an ever-changing lineup Wednesday, but he finished the game with 12:47 of ice time. He's still a bottom-six option for the Oilers due to a lack of consistency. He's at eight points, 48 shots, 70 hits and a minus-10 rating in 34 contests.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Scores with no finished checks
Puljujarvi produced a goal on two shots during a 4-3 overtime loss to the host Predators on Monday.
Puljujarvi, who entered Monday leading the Oilers with 69 hits, provided some unexpected offense in the first period, tying the game at 1-1 with a wrist shot from the right face-off circle. The 24-year-old right winger beat goalie Juuse Saros five-hole for his first goal in 26 appearances. Puljujarvi failed to record a finished check during 10:57 of ice time Monday.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Posts helper Wednesday
Puljujarvi notched an assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Blackhawks.
Puljujarvi had the puck down low and fed Ryan Nugent-Hopkins in the slot for the Oilers' second goal. There's been improvement in Puljujarvi's game lately -- he has four assists in his last eight outings, but he's still at just six points, a minus-10 rating, 34 shots on net and 50 hits through 23 contests overall. He'll get a chance to play a bit more with the Oilers missing a handful of wingers, but he hasn't done much to suggest he should keep a top-six job after the team gets healthier.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Slings assist in win
Puljujarvi notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rangers.
Through 12 outings in November, Puljujarvi has recorded four assists and a minus-5 rating. He's still gone 14 games without a goal, and that's not a good look when he's been seeing some power-play time and even-strength usage on the top line. The 24-year-old winger is at five points, 30 shots, 48 hits and a minus-10 rating in 21 contests overall.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Back in scoring column
Puljujarvi notched an assist and two hits in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Devils.
Puljujarvi hasn't found much success recently with just one point over the prior six games, though he saw 17:00 of ice time Monday with the Oilers opting for a seven-defensemen lineup. The 24-year-old Puljujarvi has three assists in his last eight games, but he hasn't scored since Oct. 26. Four points in 19 contests isn't a good look for the fourth overall pick from 2016 -- fantasy managers can likely find better scoring options on the waiver wire.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Helps out on empty-netter
Puljujarvi notched an assist and two hits in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Panthers.
Puljujarvi has seen an increased role recently -- he's been promoted to the top line at even strength with Evander Kane (wrist) and Kailer Yamamoto (undisclosed) out. It's a huge opportunity for Puljujarvi, who hasn't scored enough to even be considered streaky this season. He has a goal, two assists, 24 shots on net, 35 hits, seven PIM and a minus-6 rating. The Oilers' wing depth won't always be this thin, so the 24-year-old needs to make a statement soon if he wants to remain in a prime scoring spot later in the year.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Gets on scoresheet Saturday
Puljujarvi notched an assist and four hits in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Stars.
Puljujarvi has done almost nothing on offense this year -- his only other point was a goal Oct. 26 versus the Blues. The winger has been confined to a bottom-six role, though he saw the occasional shift in the top six Saturday as head coach Jay Woodcroft tries to spark either Puljujarvi or Kailer Yamamoto. In addition to his two points, Puljujarvi has 16 shots on net, seven PIM, 28 hits and a minus-6 rating in 12 appearances.

Oilers' Jesse Puljujarvi: Opens Wednesday's scoring
Puljujarvi secured his first point this season during the 3-1 victory over the Blues on Wednesday.
Puljujarvi, who entered Wednesday's game with zero goals and assists and only eight shots in six starts, was not producing. The 2016 fourth-overall draft pick registered a career-best 36 points last season and was projected by team brass to advance into a top-six role by now. It hasn't happened. Perhaps Wednesday's deflected tally will spark the 24-year-old right winger to earn more than the 12 minutes, 16 seconds of ice time he earned against the Blues.
