Eamon McAdam: Will become free agent
McAdam wasn't given a qualifying offer and will become a free agent, Christ Johnston from Sportsnet reports.
The Penn State product hasn't been close to making his NHL debut in his career, suiting up in both the ECHL and AHL. McAdam will find a new team, after going 10-5-1 to go along with a 2.62 GAA and .911 save percentage in 19 ECHL games last season.

Maple Leafs' Eamon McAdam: Redirected to AHL Toronto
McAdam was assigned to AHL Toronto on Wednesday, New York Times contributor Dhiren Mahiban reports.
Rather than return to ECHL Newfoundland where his campaign began, McAdam has a chance to make his professional debut with the AHL's Marlies. The Penn State product was initially up with the parent club as extra insurance in the wake of a knee injury to Frederik Andersen.

Maple Leafs' Eamon McAdam: Called up on emergency basis
McAdam was called up from ECHL Newfoundland on an emergency basis Monday, Mark Masters of TSN reports.
It was also announced Monday that Frederik Andersen has a knee issue, which is the reason why McAdam has been called up just in case. Andersen is expected to be good to go for Toronto's next game, so McAdam will likely just be around in case something happens with Garret Sparks, and then he will return to the minors.

Maple Leafs' Eamon McAdam: Headed to Toronto in trade
McAdam was traded to Toronto in exchange for forward Matt Martin.
McAdam is an insurance pickup for Toronto, which is said to be taking offers on both Garret Sparks and Cal Pickard. The 23-year-old delivered a .910 save percentage and 2.84 GAA for the ECHL Worcester Railers in 2017-18. McAdam also appeared in nine games in the AHL, recording a .903 save percentage and 2.77 GAA.
