Lightning's Dylan Duke: Stays hot in AHL win
Duke scored three goals and added an assist in AHL Syracuse's 6-2 win over Utica on Tuesday.
Duke has elevated his game lately with five goals and two assists over his last four games. Overall, he's up to six tallies, 14 points, 25 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 13 appearances. The uptick in goal-scoring is encouraging for a player who had a 20-goal, 40-point performance over 62 regular-season games as an AHL rookie in 2024-25.

Lightning's Dylan Duke: Buries two goals for Crunch
Duke scored twice in AHL Syracuse's 5-3 win over Bridgeport on Wednesday.
Duke is off to a good start this year with three goals and six helpers over 10 games. The 22-year-old had 40 points in 62 regular-season outings in his first full professional season in 2024-25, which also saw him make two NHL appearances. Duke will still need to prove himself over a longer stretch to be a candidate for a spot with the big club, but his performance is trending in the right direction for the long run.

Lightning's Dylan Duke: Shipped down to minors
Duke was reassigned to AHL Syracuse on Monday.
With the Lightning off until Feb. 23 versus the Kraken for the 4 Nations Face-Off, it shouldn't come as a surprise to see Duke headed down to the minors during the break. In his two NHL games this year, the 21-year-old center notched one goal on one shot and five hits while averaging 7:52 of ice time. Duke is far from a lock to be recalled ahead of the matchup with Seattle and likely will play the bulk of his games in the minors this year.

Lightning's Dylan Duke: Goal in NHL debut
Duke scored a goal and had two hits Saturday in a 6-3 win over Detroit.
Save the puck. It was Duke's NHL debut, and he made the most of his 7:38 of ice time in Detroit. He drove the net looking for a rebound and found one, pushing a backhander past Cam Talbot to extend Tampa Bay's lead to 5-3 early in the third period. Duke, a fourth-round pick by the Lightning (No. 126) at the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, played the previous three seasons for the nearby University of Michigan.

Lightning's Dylan Duke: Called up Friday
Duke was promoted from AHL Syracuse on Friday.
Duke could be in line for his NHL debut Saturday versus the Red Wings or Sunday versus the Canadiens if the Lightning are without Anthony Cirelli (upper body). Duke has 22 points over 36 AHL appearances this season in his first full professional campaign.

Lightning's Dylan Duke: Dropped to AHL
Duke was assigned to AHL Syracuse on Sunday.
Duke didn't have a point in three regular-season appearances with Tampa Bay's top minor-league affiliate in 2023-24, but he recorded two assists in five playoff contests with the Crunch. The 21-year-old forward produced 26 goals and 49 points in 41 games for the University of Michigan last campaign before turning pro. He will probably spend most or all of 2024-25 in the minors.

Lightning's Dylan Duke: Recalled by Tampa Bay
Duke was recalled from AHL Syracuse on Wednesday.
Duke joined Tampa Bay on a three-year, entry-level contract in April after initially being selected by the team in the fourth found of the 2021 NHL Draft. Although he'll have a chance to compete with the Lightning late in the preseason, it wouldn't be surprising to see him report back to the AHL once the regular season gets underway.
