Golden Knights' Mikhail Vorobyov: Signing rights transferred
Vorobyov's signing rights were transferred from the Flyers to the Golden Knights Wednesday in a three-team trade that saw Noah Hanifin go to Vegas and Daniil Miromanov to Calgary, per CapFriendly.
Vorobyov, 27, has not played at the NHL level since 2019-20, but he remained on the Flyers' reserve list. He had five points in 35 contests over parts of two seasons. Given his age, it seems unlikely that he'll make an NHL comeback with an organization as full of talent as the Golden Knights.

Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Playing again in KHL
Vorobyov (knee) has recorded four points in seven games with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL.
Vorobyov suffered a torn ACL last year while playing with Salavat Yulaev Ufa, but he's back in action. It's unclear when or if the fourth-round pick from 2015 will make the jump to North American hockey.

Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Facing extended absence
Vorobyov suffered an ACL injury while playing for Ufa Salavat (KHL) and is expected to miss significant time, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Prior to getting hurt, Vorobyov garnered five goals and eight helpers in 33 KHL contests. Selected by the Flyers in the fourth round of the 2015 NHL Draft, the Russian center opted to sign overseas this season but remains under Philadelphia's control after the club gave him a qualifying offer.

Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Inks KHL deal
Vorobyov has agreed to terms on a three-year deal with KHL club Salavat Yulaev Ufa, per Gorobzor.ru. According to Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the club will retain the center's rights by offering him a qualifying offer.
Vorobyev spent the bulk of the year with AHL Lehigh Valley, where he registered 12 goals and 16 helpers in 45 appearances. With the Flyers, the Russian saw action in 20 games, picking up one goal, two helpers and 15 shots while averaging 10:26 of ice time.

Philadelphia reassigned Vorobyov to AHL Lehigh Valley on Thursday.
The Flyers recalled David Kase in a corresponding move, so Vorobyov will remain in the minors for the foreseeable future. He'll likely get another shot with the big club later this season, but he won't have any fantasy value in 2019-20.

The 22-year-old has played in a lot of games since being promoted back to the NHL early in December. He's matched last season's total of one goal and two points in 14 games during 2019-20. The Flyers have been very high on the 21-year-old, and fantasy owners are beginning to see why. He picked up an assist in the opener and then scored an unassisted goal Saturday. Owners should keep an eye on him in deeper leagues.

Flyers' Mikhail Vorobyov: Skating on third line
Vorobyov will begin the season on the Flyers roster, and according to general manager Ron Hextall, he 'earned' his spot.
The 21-year-old will skate on the Flyers' third line next to Wayne Simmonds and probably James van Riemsdyk when the team opens the season against the Golden Knights on Thursday. Philadelphia's extremely high on Vorobyov, and if he remains on the third line all season, he has a chance to be a solid fantasy contributor in deep leagues. He scored nine goals and 29 points in 58 AHL games last season.
