Goyette scored a goal on five shots and added an assist in AHL Coachella Valley's 4-2 win over Tucson on Friday.
Goyette, a second-round pick in 2022, has started slow in the AHL this year. The 21-year-old has four points over 10 games, and that's not particularly encouraging after he put up just 18 points in 54 regular-season outings in 2024-25. He impressed during his OHL days with Sudbury, but the offense hasn't translated to the professional ranks yet. Expect him to spend all of 2025-26 with the Firebirds.

Goyette was assigned to AHL Coachella Valley on Saturday, per CapFriendly.
Goyette had 40 goals and 117 points in 68 regular-season contests with OHL Sudbury in 2023-24. He also supplied five goals and 10 points in nine OHL playoff outings. Seattle selected Goyette with the No. 61 overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.

Kraken's David Goyette: Signs entry-level contract

Goyette signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Seattle on Monday.
Goyette produced 41 goals and 92 points in 63 contests with OHL Sudbury during the 2022-23 campaign. The Kraken selected the 19-year-old forward in the second round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. Goyette will report to AHL Coachella Valley for the remainder of the year on a professional tryout agreement.
