Blackhawks' Gavin Hayes: Tallies twice in AHL loss
Hayes scored two goals in AHL Rockford's 8-4 loss to Chicago on Wednesday.
Hayes opened the season on a 17-game goal drought before double-dipping in this high-scoring contest. The 21-year-old winger had just five points through 18 outings to begin his second AHL campaign. A third-round pick from 2022, Hayes doesn't appear to be close to getting his NHL debut, given his current lackluster production.

Blackhawks' Gavin Hayes: Inks entry-level deal
Hayes signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Blackhawks on Monday.
Hayes racked up 41 goals and 81 points in 66 games with OHL Flint during the 2022-23 season. Chicago selected the 18-year-old forward in the third round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
