Rangers' Noah Laba: Opens scoring in win
Laba scored a goal, added two PIM and logged two hits in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Hurricanes.
Laba ended his seven-game point drought with the opening goal in this contest. The 22-year-old rookie is filling a third-line role this season, so there will be some quiet stretches on offense for him. He's produced four goals, three assists, 24 shots on net, 22 hits, 17 blocked shots, 12 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 25 appearances, which puts him on pace to exceed the 20-point mark over a full season.

Rangers' Noah Laba: Scores in Friday's win
Laba scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
Laba's second-period tally was the game-winner. He's scored three times over the last six contests as he continues to settle into a middle-six role for the Rangers as a 22-year-old rookie. In total, he's racked up five points, 16 shots on net, 13 blocked shots, 11 hits and a plus-3 rating across 15 appearances.

Rangers' Noah Laba: Deposits goal Saturday
Laba scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Kraken.
Laba was promoted to the second line and saw 13:50 of ice time Saturday as the Rangers loaded up a top line of Artemi Panarin, J.T. Miller and Mika Zibanejad. It's unclear whether the trio will remain intact for long, but it could lead to a boost in usage for Laba for as long as it lasts. The 22-year-old rookie has scored twice over his last four games and is up to four points, 12 shots on net, 10 hits, 10 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over his first 13 NHL contests.

Rangers' Noah Laba: Pots first NHL goal
Laba scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Flames.
Laba got in the zone quickly and converted on a pass from Will Cuylle just 10 seconds after Kevin Bahl put the Flames ahead 2-0. The 22-year-old Laba earned his first goal on the play, and he's added two helpers, nine shots on net, nine hits, 10 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through his first 10 appearances. The rookie forward has held down a bottom-six spot in the lineup, keeping Jonny Brodzinski in the press box most of the time. Laba's playing style is more defensive in nature, so he won't be a big fantasy presence unless his offense grows by leaps and bounds.

Rangers' Noah Laba: Records first career points
Laba had two assists and two hits in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Penguins.
Laba picked up a secondary helper on Will Cuylle's power-play tally before adding the primary assist on Taylor Raddysh's final goal of the game. The 22-year-old Laba used Saturday's contest to post his first two career points after being held off the scoresheet in his first two games. Laba is a candidate to jump back and forth between the NHL and AHL levels, making him a risky play in all fantasy formats. However, he could develop into a deep-league stash if he stays at the NHL level.

Rangers' Noah Laba: Playing physical game
Laba has recorded three hits and two blocks across the Rangers' first two games of 2025-26.
Laba hasn't recorded a point yet, but offense isn't necessarily going to be the main factor the Rangers consider when determining if the 22-year-old rookie should remain on the squad. After all, Laba is serving in a bottom-six capacity and doesn't have a role with the man advantage. It wouldn't be surprising if Laba remains in the lineup for Saturday's tilt in Pittsburgh, though Juuso Parssinen is still waiting to make his season debut.
